"White Horses" by Jacky Limited Edition Print of Original Painting

£195.00

‘White Horses’, written by Michael Carr and Ben Nisbet, is the UK theme song to the 1965 former Yugoslav and German television series ‘The White Horses’. It was sung by Jacky Lee, credited as ‘Jacky’, and later back dubbed onto all versions of the programme. It became a top ten hit in the UK charts in April 1968. The book ‘The Penguin Television Companion’ claimed it to be the best television theme in history. Jacky Lee also sang the theme to ‘Rupert the Bear’.
